Maysan: Joint security forces executed a comprehensive search and raid operation in the Qal'at Salih district, located south of the Maysan province. The operation focused on the residences and locations of individuals sought by the judiciary and led to the confiscation of unlicensed weapons and vehicles not in compliance with legal regulations.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Maysan Police Command stated that the operation was part of the sanctioned security plans. These plans are designed to target outlaws, enforce state authority, and bolster security for the protection of citizens and their assets.

The statement further mentioned that the security forces will persist in conducting their field duties. This will be done in line with leadership directives and through a high level of coordination among various security formations to ensure ongoing security and stability throughout Maysan province.
