Nineveh: Detachments from the Military Intelligence Directorate arrested 7 terrorists in Nineveh.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the arrests were made possible through accurate intelligence information provided by the Military Intelligence Directorate. The operation involved intensive field follow-up by detachments from the 16th Infantry Division, working in coordination with the Iraqi National Security Service and the Qayyarah Intelligence and Counter-Terrorism Division. The Directorate’s efforts led to the apprehension of seven individuals, including two women, across various areas of Nineveh Governorate.

The arrested individuals had warrants issued against them under the provisions of Article (1/4) of the Terrorism Law, underscoring the seriousness of their alleged activities. The operation highlights the ongoing efforts of Iraqi security forces to combat terrorism and ensure the safety of citizens in the region.
