Anbar: The Military Intelligence Directorate announced the arrest of several drug dealers and traffickers in Anbar province.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Directorate revealed that based on precise intelligence and under the direct supervision of the Military Intelligence Directorate, detachments from the intelligence and security departments of the 7th and 10th Infantry Divisions carried out targeted operations. These operations resulted in the arrest of several individuals involved in drug dealing and trafficking within the province.

The arrests were executed based on warrants issued in accordance with Articles 28 and 32 of the Narcotics Law. The operations involved well-planned ambushes, leading to the successful apprehension of the suspects. They have since been handed over to the competent judicial authorities to proceed with the necessary legal procedures.
