Diyala: The Military Intelligence Directorate announced the arrest of two terrorists in Diyala Governorate.

According to Iraqi News Agency, a statement from the directorate revealed that detachments from the directorate’s Intelligence and Security Department of the 23rd Commando Division, in cooperation with security forces within the same division’s sector, successfully apprehended the two individuals in Diyala province.

The statement further noted that the accused had previous arrest warrants issued against them under the provisions of Article (1/4) of the Counter-Terrorism Law. They have been handed over to the competent authorities to complete the necessary legal procedures.
