Baghdad: The Military Intelligence Directorate announced the arrest of seven terrorists in several governorates.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Directorate stated in a statement that, based on accurate intelligence information and well-planned ambushes, the Military Intelligence Directorate carried out several preemptive operations in various governorates across the country. These operations were based on accurate intelligence from the Intelligence Branches of the Commands of Divisions (11, 16, 17, and 23). These operations resulted in the arrest of seven terrorists, against whom arrest warrants were issued in accordance with the provisions of Article (1/4) of the Terrorism Law.

The Directorate explained that the accused were handed over to the relevant authorities in accordance with applicable legal procedures.
