Nineveh: Detachments from the Military Intelligence Directorate arrested seven terrorists in Nineveh.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Directorate revealed in a statement that the arrests were the result of precise intelligence information from the Military Intelligence Directorate. The operation involved intensive field follow-up by its detachments in the 16th Infantry Division and was coordinated with the Iraqi National Security Service and the Qayyarah Intelligence and Counter-Terrorism Division. The individuals detained include two women and were apprehended in various areas of the Nineveh Governorate.

Arrest warrants for the seven individuals were issued under the provisions of Article (1/4) of the Terrorism Law. The operation underscores the ongoing efforts by Iraqi security forces to combat terrorism and enhance security in the region.
