Baghdad The Military Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense announced today, Wednesday, the discovery of a cache of ISIS terrorists containing various weapons and ammunition in Kirkuk Governorate.
The Directorate stated in a statement, that “in coordination with the Intelligence Department of the Advanced Headquarters for Joint Operations in Kirkuk, and based on accurate intelligence information, about the presence of a hideout for ISIS terrorist gangs in Wadi al-Shay in Kirkuk, the place was raided and searched by a force of 45 and a force of the special forces Brigade / 2”.
The Directorate indicated, “a cache of ISIS terrorist gangs was found, containing 3 explosive belts, a 10 liter gelcans, 3 sticky packages, as well as 1 cylindrical package, a 3-meter quartz fuse, in addition to a detonating lighter number 10.
It indicated that “the seized materials were processed on-site by the processing detachment accompanying the security force.”
