Baghdad: The Minister of Agriculture, Abdul Rahim Al-Shammari, has approved the disbursement of payments to seed producers for the 2025 agricultural season. This decision was made during a visit to the Mesopotamia General Company for Seeds, where the minister directed all branches to ensure the timely delivery of dues to the producers.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Shammari emphasized the importance of supporting the agricultural sector by facilitating financial transactions to seed producers. This move is aimed at ensuring the readiness of the sector for the upcoming planting season and sustaining the momentum of agricultural productivity.
