Minister of Communications Reports Record Revenue During Arbaeen Pilgrimage

Baghdad: The Minister of Communications, Mustafa Sanad, has announced that the state treasury experienced a significant boost in financial revenues during the Arbaeen pilgrimage.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Sanad revealed in a press release that the total number of international calls to Iraq during the pilgrimage period reached an impressive 4,093,229, while outgoing calls accounted for 3,560,351. Additionally, the international internet bandwidth reached an unprecedented 8.63 terabits per second, marking a historic high for the country.

Sanad explained that these remarkable figures contributed to substantial revenue for the state treasury, with most of the income received through the Communications and Media Commission, and the remainder through the Ministry of Communications.
