Paris: The Minister of Culture, Tourism, and Antiquities, Sarwa Abdul Wahid, recently engaged in a significant meeting with Anne-Claire, the President of the Arab World Institute in Paris. The discussions centered on enhancing cultural cooperation between Iraq and France.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Abdul Wahid’s meeting with Anne-Claire was attended by Shawqi Karim, the Institute’s Director. The focus of their discussions included cultural issues of mutual interest, strategies for enhancing cooperation and cultural exchange, and developing partnerships between Iraqi cultural institutions and their French counterparts.

Abdul Wahid highlighted the importance of this visit, emphasizing the potential to expand cultural cooperation and promote Iraqi culture. The minister underscored the opportunity to showcase Iraq’s rich heritage and cultural diversity, aiming to open new avenues for Iraqi intellectuals, artists, and creators.
