Mosul: Minister of Culture and Youth Ahmed Fakak Al-Badrani affirmed that the Ministry of Culture continues to support vital projects aimed at revitalizing heritage sites in Mosul. In a statement to the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA), Al-Badrani emphasized the ongoing work at Beit Ziada, highlighting its significance in preserving an essential part of the city’s cultural heritage. He noted the importance of collaborating with international organizations such as UNESCO to bolster these initiatives.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Badrani also conducted visits to assess the final preparations for the opening of the Cultural Palace in Mosul, which is anticipated to become a key hub for cultural and artistic activities in the city. The Minister commended the efforts of both local and international technical teams and underscored the Ministry’s dedication to restoring Mosul’s historical sites. This commitment aims to help the city reclaim its position as a global cultural center.

At the conclusion of his visit, Al-Badrani stressed the Iraqi government’s dedication to rejuvenating Nineveh’s cultural heritage. He highlighted the intention to enhance the city’s historical status and reaffirm its significant role in the region.
