Baghdad: Minister of Education Ibrahim Namis Al-Jubouri engaged in discussions with Paolo Fonti, the Director of the UNESCO Office in Iraq, to explore strategies for enhancing educational projects and programs in line with a modern educational philosophy aimed at achieving institutional integration within Iraq’s educational system.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry of Education’s media office reported that the discussions centered on intensifying support for education across Iraq’s governorates. This comes in the wake of successful training programs that have notably improved the performance of general and vocational education, particularly in the governorates of Maysan, Dhi Qar, and Basra. These efforts follow the strengthening of educational projects in liberated areas and include plans for rehabilitating and constructing schools to enhance infrastructure.
The meeting also included the participation of the Director General of Cultural Relations, Majid Al-Shammari, who contributed to the dialogue on developing future plans to further support the educational framework in Iraq.
