BAGHDAD: The Minister of Education, Ibrahim Namis Al-Jubouri, has announced a directive for the deployment of advanced technological systems aimed at enhancing governance and automating data delivery within the educational sector. The initiative includes the integration of artificial intelligence to streamline responses to citizens’ inquiries, with a three-month timeline set for the rollout of these digital plans. The announcement was made during an expanded meeting at the Ministry’s headquarters, attended by members of the Supreme Committee for Digital Transformation.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting focused on finalizing an automated answering platform under the General Directorate of Educational Planning. This platform is designed to facilitate prompt responses to citizens’ questions, leveraging artificial intelligence to improve efficiency. The Ministry’s statement highlighted that this digital transformation represents a significant shift towards modernizing educational transactions, aiming to reduce time and effort for processing inquiries. Additionally, the implementation of this plan will be factored into the job evaluations of relevant authorities within all General Directorates of Education.
