Baghdad: Minister of Migration and Displacement Evan Faeq Jabro held a meeting with Samir Youssef, head of the Chaldean Association in Australia and a member of the Fairfield Provincial Council, at her office in the capital.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting focused on significant issues related to the conditions of the Christian population. It emphasized the importance of maintaining their presence in their native regions and ensuring stability in those areas.

Minister Jabro highlighted the government’s commitment to Iraqi communities, particularly the Christian community. She underscored the significance of engaging them and utilizing their expertise for national development.

Samir Youssef expressed gratitude to the minister for her initiatives aimed at facilitating the return of displaced individuals and supporting community components.
