Baghdad: The Minister of Industry directs the follow-up on the implementation of the Advisory Board’s decisions after discussing partnership, production, and performance development files. Minister of Industry and Minerals, Mohammed Nouri, chaired the second session of the Advisory Board for 2026, in the presence of undersecretaries, advisors, and directors general from the ministry and its affiliated departments. The session addressed a range of administrative, technical, and production-related matters, as well as partnership contracts and projects, as part of the ministry’s efforts to enhance the performance of the industrial sector.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the session discussed the topics on the agenda, which focused on developing institutional performance, supporting industrial projects, and following up on partnership files in line with the ministry’s plans and the priorities of the government program.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the minister stressed the need to expedite the implementation of the decisions and directives issued by the Advisory Board and to monitor their application on the ground. This, he emphasized, would contribute to raising the efficiency of work within the ministry and its affiliated departments and achieving the goals set for developing the industrial sector.
