Baghdad: The Minister of Interior, Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, engaged in discussions on security cooperation and issues of mutual interest with ambassadors from France and Australia. In his office on Monday, he first met with Patrick Dorrell, the French Ambassador to Iraq, to explore ways to enhance joint security collaboration between Iraq and France.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from the Ministry of Interior highlighted that both parties are keen on developing their security cooperation. The conversation underscored the importance of strengthening bilateral ties to foster improved security measures.

In a subsequent meeting, Al-Shammari also conferred with Glenn Miles, the Australian Ambassador to Iraq. The discussions revolved around various issues of shared interest, underpinning the mutual benefits of their collaboration. The Minister emphasized Iraq's commitment to enhancing relationships with friendly nations to achieve shared goals.

Both ambassadors expressed admiration for the professionalism of the Iraqi Ministry of Interior and acknowledged its persistent efforts to exchange expertise and nurture bilateral relations.
