Minister of Interior Vows to Protect Iraq’s Security


Baghdad: Interior Minister Abdul Amir Al-Shammari emphasized a strong stance against threats to Iraq’s security and institutional prestige, declaring that the government will “strike with an iron fist anyone who attempts to tamper” with these aspects.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Shammari stated his commitment to ongoing operations aimed at arresting those involved in recent conflicts east of Baghdad. He further announced an open war against terrorism, drugs, and tribal conflicts, illustrating the ministry’s dedication to maintaining order and safety across the region.
