Basra: Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs and Minister of Oil, Hayan Abdul Ghani, announced the imminent operation of the PET Scan device for children with cancer and support for the health sector in Basra.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, during his visit to the Children's Specialized Hospital in the governorate, the Minister said, "My visit today to the Children's Hospital in Basra is to support children with cancer."

The Minister confirmed the imminent operation of the PET Scan device, as well as the provision of support to the health sector in Basra in general, which comes within the framework of community initiatives.
