Baghdad: Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs and Minister of Oil, Hayyan Abdul-Ghani, has reiterated the Ministry of Oil's dedication to advancing the oil sector by leveraging both national efforts and collaborations with esteemed foreign and Arab companies.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from the Ministry of Oil highlighted that Abdul-Ghani engaged with several officials from Arab and international companies during a meeting on Saturday. The minister took the opportunity to outline the ministry's achievements across various domains, including gas, refining, extraction, and distribution, while reinforcing the commitment to foster development through partnerships with well-regarded foreign and Arab entities.

The discussions were further enriched by the presence of Basim Mohammed Khudair, Undersecretary of the Ministry for Extraction Affairs, and Karim Yasser, Director General of the Reservoirs and Field Development Department, underscoring the ministry's strategic focus on sectoral growth and international collaboration.
