Minister of Planning Praises Government’s Crisis Prevention Efforts


Baghdad: Minister of Planning, Mohammed Ali Tamim, affirmed on Sunday that the government has worked with high professionalism and great seriousness, preventing the country from sliding into crises. The ministry stated in a press release that “Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Planning, Mohammed Ali Tamim, chaired the final meeting of the ministry’s advisory board for 2025,” noting that “the meeting discussed a number of issues on the agenda and adopted the necessary procedures, recommendations, and decisions regarding them.”



According to National Iraqi News Agency, during the meeting, the minister emphasized that the past period was filled with continuous work and efforts in various economic and developmental fields, in accordance with the tasks and responsibilities undertaken by the Ministry of Planning. He praised “the level of performance demonstrated by the ministry’s staff, which was reflected positively in the achieved results.”



He explained that “the circumstances Iraq has witnessed over the past three years have not been easy, both domestically and internationally. However, the government has worked with high professionalism and great seriousness to overcome these challenges and has been keen to prevent the country from sliding into any crises, especially given the deteriorating situation in the region.” He indicated that “the next phase will witness positive results from the steps and measures the government has worked on during the past period,” expressing his “hopes that the New Year will be full of success and further progress in development.”
