Baghdad: The Minister of Transport, Wahab Salman Mohammed Al-Hassani, has dismissed the Director General of the Iraqi Republic Railways Company, Makki Jaber Nasser, from his position. In a ministerial decision, Al-Hassani appointed Mohammed Habib Jabr as the new head of the company.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, this change in leadership is part of the Ministry of Transport's efforts to restructure and improve the operations of the Iraqi Republic Railways Company. The appointment of Mohammed Habib Jabr is expected to bring new management to the company as it tackles ongoing challenges.
