Baghdad: The Ministers of Agriculture, Abdul Rahim Jassim Al-Shammari, and Trade, Mustafa Nizar Al-Ani, engaged in discussions focused on enhancing the marketing of local agricultural crops and products, aiming to bolster domestic production.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the discussions took place during the 17th Agricultural Week exhibition. The ministry released a statement highlighting that the talks centered on expanding marketing outlets and improving market access for domestic agricultural products. The discussions emphasized the importance of strengthening both public and private sector involvement, as well as attracting Arab and foreign companies and investors to foster growth in the agricultural and livestock sectors.
