Karbala: Minister of Interior Abdul-Amir Al-Shammari and Minister of Defense Thabet Al-Abbasi followed up on security for the Arbaeen pilgrimage at the Karbala Operations Command headquarters in Karbala.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the ministers’ involvement underscores the importance of ensuring the safety and security of millions of pilgrims who are expected to participate in the annual Arbaeen pilgrimage. The pilgrimage is a significant event that commemorates the martyrdom of Imam Hussein and draws visitors from across the world to Karbala.
