Nineveh: The Ministry of Construction has announced the near completion of the Al-Qosh water project in the Nineveh Governorate. Efforts to finalize this vital infrastructure are ongoing, with the project set to significantly enhance water supply in the region.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Al-Qosh water project is designed to operate at a capacity of 2,000 cubic meters per hour. This will provide potable water to over 350,000 residents across the Al-Qosh district, the town of Tel Asqaf, surrounding villages, and the Badriya village complexes.

The ministry detailed that current work includes the paving of streets at the booster station in Tel Asqaf, laying service lines to various buildings, ongoing maintenance of the iron reservoir, and preparations for pouring the foundation for the water hammer in the Tel Keif district. These efforts are crucial for the project’s timely completion and subsequent operational efficiency.
