Baghdad: The Ministry of Construction, Housing, and Municipalities has firmly denied reports regarding the alleged arrest of its Undersecretary for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Matin al-Chaderji. These reports, which have been circulating on various news websites and social media platforms, were dismissed as “completely false” by the Ministry.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry emphasized its stance in a press release, expressing support for the government’s ongoing anti-corruption measures. The Ministry urged media outlets to uphold these efforts by verifying information through official channels prior to publication. It highlighted concerns that inaccurate reporting could mislead public opinion and potentially damage the reputation of government institutions.
