Baghdad: The Ministry of Defense engaged in discussions with a delegation from the NATO mission in Iraq to explore joint cooperation in military media training. This initiative aims to strengthen the partnership and coordination between the Ministry and the NATO mission.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting was led by the Director of the Media and Moral Guidance Directorate, focusing on establishing various training programs to enhance the media skills of military personnel. An integrated media training strategy was proposed to align with the evolving field changes and operational demands of military units.

The discussions also included plans to advance the capabilities of the Ministry’s Military Media School, aiming to improve training quality and expand technical and specialized knowledge. The NATO delegation commended the significant role of military media during operations to liberate cities from terrorism, highlighting the professionalism and patriotism of the Ministry’s media teams in their coverage of military activities.

The meeting concluded with an agreement to organize joint training courses, facilitated by trainers from both sides, to promote expertise exchange and support the development of professional military media.
