Baghdad: The Ministry of Education, represented by Taha Issa Al-Naji, Director General of the Directorate General for Teacher Preparation, Training, and Educational Development, held a meeting with Ibtihal Al-Zidi, the Prime Minister’s Advisor for Education Affairs. The focus was on enhancing preparation and training programs to elevate the qualification standards of educational staff.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry issued a press release stating that the meeting addressed the current state of training programs and the affairs of fine arts institutes. It also reviewed mechanisms for developing training programs and improving institutional performance in line with the Ministry of Education’s priorities.

Al-Naji conveyed that the Directorate General is advancing its development programs with a vision centered on modernizing preparation and training tools. This includes enhancing the professional qualifications of educational staff and maintaining coordination with entities that support the educational process.

Ibtihal Al-Zidi expressed her appreciation for the efforts of the Directorate General, emphasizing her support for ongoing coordination and the continuation of joint programs. The ultimate goal is to develop the preparation and training system and improve performance levels.
