Baghdad: The Ministry of Education has announced the transfer of the service for changing the locations of private educational institutions to the government’s “Ur” electronic platform. This digital migration aims to streamline the application process for owners of private institutions, making it more accessible and efficient.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the General Directorate of Public, Private, and Foreign Education at the Ministry of Education confirmed that the service became effective on September 9, 2026. This change is part of the Ministry’s broader initiative to digitize educational services, ensuring a more streamlined procedure for private institution owners. The Ministry has urged those wishing to change their institutional locations to submit their applications exclusively through the “Ur” platform, utilizing the dedicated electronic link provided for this service.
