Baghdad: The Ministry of Education has successfully recovered 1.029 billion Iraqi dinars for the state treasury as part of its functional cross-referencing procedures in Maysan Governorate. This effort was led by the General Directorate of Education in Maysan, under the directives of the Minister of Education and the supervision of Director General Jawad Kadhim Sultan Al-Sakri.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the recovery process involved meticulous monitoring by the Functional Cross-Circle Unit. This was based on existing instructions and regulations, alongside the completion of approved legal and administrative procedures, following an audit of the functional cross-circle files.

The Ministry of Education has reiterated its commitment to continue monitoring public funds files. It plans to uphold decisions and instructions issued by both the Ministries of Education and Finance to ensure the integrity of administrative procedures and the protection of state rights within the approved legal frameworks.
