Baghdad: The Ministry of Education has unequivocally denied any plans to designate the 2025-2026 academic year as a non-failing year.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry clarified that no such decision had been made, dismissing the circulating document as a forgery that does not reflect the Ministry’s official stance. The Ministry’s media office emphasized the importance of verifying the authenticity of documents and cautioned students and parents against spreading or engaging with unverified information.

The Ministry urged the public to rely solely on its official website and verified social media platforms for accurate information and updates. It reiterated that any decisions affecting students would be communicated through these channels, advising caution to prevent falling for rumors.
