Baghdad: The Ministry of Education is set to launch a Training of Trainers (TOT) course for leaders across Iraq tomorrow. The course aims to enhance the skills of educational supervisors as part of the School-Based Development Program.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry’s statement highlighted its readiness to initiate the TOT course, which will be under the direction of Minister of Education Abdul Karim Abtan al-Jubouri. The program, running from August 16 to August 20, 2026, will be overseen by the Ministry’s Undersecretary for Scientific Affairs. The Director General of Teacher Preparation, Training, and Educational Development has confirmed the readiness of training facilities and resources to accommodate participants.

The Ministry’s statement emphasized the course’s objective of developing educational leaders who can effectively transfer expertise and broaden the impact of training within schools. This initiative is part of an ongoing effort to enhance the professional performance of educational staff across Iraq.
