Baghdad: The Ministry of Finance has initiated a new service that enables the issuance of clearance certificates for transferring bank accounts from Al-Nahrain Islamic Bank via the (UR) government services portal.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, this service has been launched by the Information Technology Department of the Ministry in response to directives from the Prime Minister. It is part of a broader initiative to adopt digital transformation measures, with support from the Minister of Finance and under the guidance of the Director General of the Information Technology Department. The launch was carried out in cooperation with the Director General of Al-Nahrain Islamic Bank and in coordination with the Prime Minister's Office/National Center for Digital Transformation.

The ministry stated that this service aims to streamline application procedures, speed up transactions, and enhance transparency and efficiency, aligning with the government's goals of digital transformation and improving service delivery to citizens.
