Baghdad: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has expressed its approval of a ceasefire agreement initiated by the United States between Iran and the Israeli entity. In a statement released on Tuesday, the Ministry extended its congratulations to both the Islamic Republic of Iran and the State of Qatar for their roles in achieving this significant diplomatic milestone.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry highlighted its hope that the ceasefire would pave the way for a comprehensive and lasting resolution to the ongoing tensions in the region. The statement emphasized the importance of seeking peaceful and diplomatic avenues to address and resolve conflicts.
