Baghdad: The Ministry of Health, in collaboration with the private sector, has inaugurated the private wing laboratory at Yarmouk Teaching Hospital. This initiative is part of the ministry’s ongoing efforts to enhance diagnostic services and elevate the standard of healthcare available to patients.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry of Health announced in a press release that the new laboratory is outfitted with advanced laboratory equipment and technologies. It will offer a variety of diagnostic tests, such as biochemistry, hematology, complete blood count, hormone and immunology tests, as well as virology, microbiology, and drug and psychotropic substance tests. These services will adhere to approved standards, ensuring quality and accuracy.

The ministry emphasized that the establishment of this laboratory is expected to significantly improve medical and diagnostic services, providing patients with precise specialized tests.
