Baghdad: The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced the opening of the admission form for students who graduated from Islamic preparatory schools. The announcement marks a significant development for students seeking higher education opportunities in various fields under the ministry’s purview.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the ministry has stated that the electronic application form is now open to accept students who graduated from Islamic preparatory schools affiliated with the Ministry of Education and endowment schools for the academic year 2025/2026. This initiative is aimed at facilitating the transition of students from preparatory to higher education while ensuring inclusivity and accessibility.

The Department of Studies, Planning and Follow-up at the ministry confirmed, through the statement, that applications are invited for departments such as Arabic Language, History, Philosophy, Sociology, Tourism, Psychology, and Archaeology. The application process will remain open until Monday, October 27, 2025, providing ample time for prospective students to complete their submissions.
