Ministry of Interior: 3 Kuwaiti Hunters Arrested for Violating Hunting Regulations in Muthanna Desert


Muthanna: The Ministry of Interior announced today the arrest of three Kuwaiti hunters for violating hunting regulations and conditions in the Muthanna desert.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Border Forces Command of the Ministry of Interior apprehended the hunters, who were of Kuwaiti nationality, in the desert area.



The Ministry stated that the hunters were found riding in a civilian vehicle, and in their possession were three falcons used for hunting. The initial investigation indicated that the individuals had breached hunting regulations and instructions, as well as violated the laws governing the entry of foreign hunters and hunting practices within Iraqi territory. Legal measures were taken against the Kuwaiti hunters in accordance with the instructions, and they were subsequently referred to the competent authorities to complete the investigation.
