Baghdad: The Ministry of Migration and Displacement announced the launch of a human rights violations reporting service.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry stated in a statement that the Ministry’s Information and Research Department, in cooperation with the National Data Center at the Council of Ministers, has completed a new electronic service through the Ur portal and the ministry’s official website. This service allows the Ministry’s target groups to report any human rights violations to which they may be exposed.
The Ministry affirmed in a statement that “the service represents a humanitarian and human rights step aimed at monitoring, documenting, and investigating violations, and preventing their recurrence in the future.” It noted that “the Ministry continues to implement various human rights activities through the Human Rights Department, which has implemented numerous programs and activities to enhance protection and support standards for affected groups.”
