MoD and NATO Mission Discuss Enhancing Training and Armament Cooperation

Baghdad: The Ministry of Defense engaged in discussions with the NATO Mission to explore potential avenues for joint cooperation in the fields of training, armament, and expertise exchange.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry's Secretary-General, Lt. Gen. Shwan Mzhar Ali Al-Rawnduzi, hosted the Commander of the NATO Mission in Iraq, Gen. Christoph Hnitzi, along with his delegation at the Ministry's headquarters.

The meeting focused on strengthening the partnership between the Ministry of Defense and NATO, especially in training and qualification. Both parties emphasized the importance of leveraging the expertise of NATO military advisers to enhance combat efficiency and develop the skills of the Ministry's personnel.
