Baghdad: Minister of Industry and Minerals, Mohammed Nouri Ahmed, met today with the Palestinian Ambassador to Iraq, Samar Abdul Rahman Awadallah, to discuss bilateral relations and a number of common issues.

According to Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry of Industry and Minerals' media office stated in a press release that "Minister of Industry and Minerals, Mohammed Nouri Ahmed, received the Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Iraq, Samar Abdul Rahman Awadallah."

The statement continued, "The meeting addressed bilateral relations between the two countries and a number of issues of mutual interest."
