Diyala: Diyala Governorate hospitals have reported receiving over 300 cases of suffocation attributed to dust storms that recently swept through the region.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Diyala Health Media Director Faris Al Azzawi stated that government hospitals across the districts and sub-districts of Diyala were mobilized to handle the influx of patients.
He noted that all medical personnel have been engaged in treating individuals suffering from asthma and bronchial issues as a result of the dust storms. Al Azzawi assured that most of those affected have recovered following medical intervention, and there are no reports of critical cases.
