Diyala: More than 600 service processions have commenced logistical support efforts for pilgrims participating in the Arbaeen pilgrimage of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), starting from Al-Munthiriya border crossing and extending to the central dispatch point between Diyala and Baghdad.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a government source disclosed that these service processions have been strategically deployed along major routes such as the Kirkuk-Baghdad road and Khanaqin-Baqubah road. The path extends through Al-Miqdadiyah district and reaches the central dispatch point near the town of Jadidat Al-Shatt, located southwest of Baqubah.

The processions operate continuously to assist pilgrims arriving from the Islamic Republic of Iran and other Islamic countries. The source further explained that the dual dispatch plan has already been initiated from Al-Munthiriya crossing towards the central dispatch area near the administrative border with Baghdad. This is in preparation for the pilgrims’ journey to the holy city of Karbala.
