Herat: More than 70 people were killed on Tuesday in a traffic accident in Afghanistan. Spokesman for the Herat provincial government, Ahmadullah Muttaqi, explained: “A traffic accident occurred on Tuesday night in the province, killing 71 people, including 17 children, when a bus carrying migrants deported to Kabul caught fire after colliding with a truck and a motorcycle.”

According to National Iraqi News Agency, police said in a statement that “due to excessive speed and negligence, a bus veered off the main road and collided seriously with a truck in Herat province.”
