Morocco: Moroccan security authorities dismantled a cell loyal to ISIS in northern Morocco on Wednesday. The Central Bureau of Judicial Investigations stated in a statement that security authorities arrested four individuals in the cities of Tetouan and Chefchaouen, aged between 20 and 27.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the operation resulted in the seizure of various items, including weapon models such as a rifle equipped with a scope, two pistols, and a set of electronic devices. These devices will undergo digital expertise to gather further information.
The statement indicated that the suspects were detained for investigation under the supervision of the Public Prosecution Office in charge of terrorism cases. This investigation aims to uncover the circumstances and conditions surrounding their involvement in the preparation and planning of terrorist acts.
