Mosul: The Director of Mosul Municipality, Abdul Sattar Al-Habou, announced a ban on placing candidate photos on medians and green areas within the city limits.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the municipality has directed the immediate implementation of this decision and the removal of any candidate photos that have been installed in these areas. This measure aims to preserve the city’s aesthetics and organize the streets.

Al-Habou further stated that the decision is part of an effort to maintain the civilized appearance of the governorate. He highlighted that there are strict instructions to limit election campaigning in public places.

The municipality is committed to monitoring these measures to prevent any encroachment on green spaces and medians, ensuring compliance with the newly implemented ban.
