The MP of Al-Fateh Alliance, Madiha Al-Moussawi, announced that early elections should be held under the supervision of a government with full powers.
Al-Moussawi said in a televised statement: ” Al-Fateh Alliance is the first to demand the re-election, noting that Parliament is proceeding with its work and we are seeking to form a government that meets the aspirations of the people.”
She continued: “The country needs a government with full powers, adding that the Kurdish lack of consensus to resolve the candidate for the presidency may lead the parliament to a free vote.”
She indicated that the door to dialogue is still open to the Sadrist movement.
