MP from Diyala: The series of assassinations aims to destabilize security and stability and shuffling papers

Baquba / NINA / – The MP of Diyala Governorate, Burhan Al-Mamouri, confirmed that the series of assassinations and kidnappings by some criminals aims to destabilize security and stability in the province, threatening civil peace and pushing for shuffle the cards for interests known to all.

He said in a statement that “what happened in the assassination of retired Brigadier General Amer Al-Majma’i in Khalis district is one of a series of crimes committed against qualified doctors and officers.”

Al-Mamouri called on the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces to “intervene directly and have direct access to everything that is going on in Diyala, follow up on all files, and pursue criminal gangs that have violated the sanctity of Muslim blood.”

A security source in Diyala province announced earlier that a civilian had been assassinated in an armed attack in the center of Khalis district, north of Baquba.
