Baghdad: MP Hussein Al-Ankoushi announced his withdrawal from the Reconstruction and Development Bloc. In a public statement, Al-Ankoushi expressed his decision to part ways with the bloc and extended his best wishes to President Mohammed Shia’a Al-Sudani.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Ankoushi stated, “From today, I represent only myself as an independent MP, unaffiliated with any political party. My decision stems from my responsibility to the people and my commitment to stand with the people of Diwaniyah and Iraq with complete freedom and clarity.” The declaration highlights Al-Ankoushi’s intent to serve his constituents without the constraints of party affiliation.
