Al-Kut The MP of Wasit Governorate, Hussein Ali Mardan, confirmed that the political blocs had reached an agreement to resolve the crisis with the Kurds regarding the amounts allocated to them within the budget and to end the recurring conflict every year.
Mardan told the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that the previous governments stopped paying the region’s dues for two years, which caused the salaries of employees there to be suspended, pointing to the goodwill of all political forces to legislate a law that maintains the balance of money and oil between the center and the region.
