Baghdad The head of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate, Muayyad Al-Lami, offered his condolences on the death of the former Minister of Culture, Abdul-Amir Al-Hamdani.

Al-Lami said in a tweet to him on Twitter: “The death of brother and friend Abdul-Amir Al-Hamdani is a great loss for the cultural approach mixed with new aspirations to revive Iraq’s heritage and its antiquities. He is an outstanding moral, humanitarian, literary and encyclopedic figure. May God have mercy on you, my brother Abdul Amir, with the vastness of His mercy. I pray that Allah bestows patience and solace on your family and lovers.
