Baghdad: The leader of the Sadrist Movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, has offered advice to participants in the parliamentary elections, specifically targeting those who are being asked to photograph their ballot papers in exchange for money or favors.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Sadr's close aide, Saleh Muhammad al-Iraqi, quoted him advising voters to accept money or bribes if they are asked to photograph their ballot papers, provided it is not prohibited. He suggested that voters then invalidate the ballots by adding any writing, which would result in the vote being canceled.

Al-Sadr further expressed that by taking such actions, voters would effectively 'deprive them of both their money and your vote.' He concluded his message by reaffirming that the Sadrist Movement is continuing its stance of 'boycotting' the electoral process.
